These are a gluten free treat.  These donuts do not have a light fluffy texture but they are a sweet treat that uses up any bananas that are on their way out.  Enjoy.

Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Donuts


6 eggs

4 Tablespoons coconut oil melted

4 Tablespoons almond milk

6 Tablespoons of pure maple syrup or agave

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon almond extract

½ cup coconut flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon nutmeg

3 ripe bananas mashed

½ cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Beat eggs in a large bowl. 
  • Add coconut oil, almond milk, maple syrup, salt, almond extract, coconut flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg and mix well.
  • Fold in the bananas and chocolate chips.
  • Grease a donut pan with coconut oil and pour batter into the donut pan.
  • Bake at 400 F for 12 minutes.  Check for doneness by poking with a toothpick, when the toothpick comes out clean remove them from the oven.
  • Let set in donut pan for a minute and then transfer to a cooling rack.
