Meet The Team

Meet the people dedicated to helping you thrive.

Chiropractors

Jeff Algajer, D.C.

Dr. Jeff Algajer may be newer to Arizona, but he brings more than 20 years of chiropractic experience to Inspired Life Oro Valley.

He, Dr. Katie, and Dr. Rachel first met in chiropractic school more than two decades ago before building practices, families, and careers of their own. After 20 years of owning and operating a chiropractic practice in Minnesota, Dr. Jeff and Dr. Katie moved their family to Arizona and reunited with Dr. Rachel at Inspired Life.

With a background in biology, neuropsychology, and neuroanatomy, Dr. Jeff has always been fascinated by the relationship between the brain, spine, nervous system, movement, and overall health. His approach is rooted in listening first, understanding the whole picture, and helping patients understand what is happening in their bodies and why. He looks beyond symptoms to factors like mobility, strength, sleep, recovery, stress, and daily habits, with the goal of helping patients make informed decisions about their health.

For Dr. Jeff, the best part of chiropractic is watching people get their lives back—whether that means returning to the gym, hiking, playing with their kids, sleeping more comfortably, or simply moving through the day with greater confidence. Outside the office, he is a husband and father of four who enjoys hiking, skiing, strength training, pickleball, hunting, music, and exploring Arizona and the Southwest.

Brooke Mazujian, D.C.

Her passion for chiropractic was shaped by her own experience. Although she had always known about chiropractic, it wasn’t until adulthood that she experienced its impact firsthand. During a severe asthma attack, after traditional medical care failed to provide answers, a chiropractic adjustment dramatically improved her breathing. That life-changing experience made her wonder how different her life might have been if she had discovered chiropractic sooner, and inspired her to become the kind of doctor who helps others find answers, hope, and options.

After earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University, Dr. Brooke knew she wanted to build both her career and her life in Arizona. What began as a visit to family turned into finding Inspired Life, where she immediately connected with the team’s energy, culture, and shared commitment to helping people heal naturally.

Dr. Brooke believes every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and confident in the care they receive. She takes time to understand each person’s goals, explain what’s happening in their body, and create a treatment plan that makes sense for their unique situation. Her philosophy is simple: meet people where they are, give them the knowledge they need, and help them move toward the healthiest version of themselves.

One of her greatest joys is watching patients regain the ability to do the things they love while becoming more proactive about their health. She believes chiropractic isn’t simply about helping people feel better today. It’s about helping them function better for years to come.

When she’s away from the office, you’ll usually find Dr. Brooke hiking with her dad, spending time with her three dogs, Winston, Ella, and Dexter, or riding her horse, Dani. She enjoys exploring Tucson with her boyfriend, Robert, and dreams of traveling the world and experiencing new cultures.

Her hope is that every patient leaves feeling heard, empowered, and confident they have someone in their corner who genuinely wants to help them live a longer, healthier, and more fulfilling life.

Dr. Brooke believes the best healthcare begins with listening, educating, and meeting people where they are.

Inspired Life Chiropractic Meet the Staff Headshot Miranda Parris DC

Miranda Parris, D.C.

For Dr. Miranda, chiropractic has always been about helping people get back to living the life they love.

Her own journey began after being born with two hip conditions that led to years of sports-related injuries. After trying a variety of treatments, chiropractic care made the biggest difference in her life. That experience inspired her to become a chiropractor and dedicate her career to helping others improve their health, restore function, and reach their full potential.

Originally from West Des Moines, Iowa, Dr. Miranda always knew Tucson would one day become home. After earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University, she made that dream a reality by moving closer to family and joining the Inspired Life team.

What drew Dr. Miranda to Inspired Life was its philosophy. She found a team committed to helping people heal naturally, treating every patient as an individual, and continually seeking the most current research and innovative therapies to provide the highest quality care. Inspired Life isn’t just where she works—it’s where she found a team that shares her passion for helping people live healthier, more active lives.

Dr. Miranda believes every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and never rushed. She takes time to understand each person’s goals, educate them about what’s happening in their body, and create a personalized treatment plan that supports their unique journey.

Her greatest reward is seeing patients return to the activities that matter most to them—playing with their children, traveling, gardening, exercising, or simply waking up without pain. She believes better movement creates a better quality of life, and helping people reclaim that freedom is why she loves what she does.

Outside the office, you’ll usually find Dr. Miranda with a book or her Kindle, hiking with her Australian Shepherds, Maya and Mocha, or planning her next international adventure. She loves exploring new cultures, recently traveled to Ireland to discover her family’s roots, and is currently learning Spanish as she prepares for future travels.

Her hope is simple.

That every patient leaves feeling better, understanding their body more clearly, and confident they have a partner who genuinely wants to help them live life to its fullest.

Rachel Novak, D.C.

"I believe the body was designed to heal."

That belief didn’t begin in chiropractic school. It began with a little girl praying for answers. As a teenager, Rachel lost her father. Looking back, she learned there were conservative treatment options that may have improved his quality of life and possibly given him more time.

Those options were never presented. She made a promise. Help people understand their bodies. Teach them their options. Help them make informed decisions before believing drugs or surgery are their only choices. That promise became Inspired Life.

Today, Rachel still begins the same way. By listening. Every patient has a story. Every patient has goals. Every patient deserves to be heard before a recommendation is ever made.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Megan Neal, LAc

For Megan, healing begins by listening.

She believes every person has a story, and every treatment begins by understanding the individual sitting in front of her. Inspired by the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Megan’s approach focuses on restoring balance, supporting the body’s natural healing abilities, and helping people find a clear path forward.

Her journey into Chinese Medicine was deeply personal. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and told she would need medication for the rest of her life, Megan chose a different path. She immersed herself in yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a whole-body approach to healing. Today, she is symptom free, and that experience continues to shape the compassionate, hopeful care she provides to every patient.

What drew Megan to Inspired Life was the opportunity to practice alongside a team that embraces many different approaches to healing while sharing one common mission: helping people live healthier lives. She values the collaboration, the supportive culture, and the belief that the best care comes from working together rather than competing. Of course, she also appreciates the office dogs.

Outside the office, Megan is the proud mother of her son, Elliott, who is the center of her world. She enjoys hiking, running, practicing and teaching yoga, playing the harmonium, and spending time in the Arizona desert. She believes nature is one of our greatest teachers and knows she will spend a lifetime studying and deepening her understanding of Chinese Medicine.

Megan hopes every patient leaves with less pain, more energy, and most importantly, a clear path forward. She believes one of the greatest gifts she can offer is simply being present, holding space for people, and helping them discover the healthiest version of themselves, even when they can’t yet see it for themselves.

Massage & Bodywork

Inspired Life Chiropractic Meet the Staff Headshot Hayley Rivera LMT LE

Hayley Rivera, LMT, LE

For Hayley, caring for the body is about much more than helping someone relax.

It’s about helping people feel better, move better, and realize they are worth investing in.

From massage therapy to esthetic services, Hayley believes every appointment should have a purpose. Every technique, every recommendation, and every conversation is intentional. Her goal is to help people find relief, restore balance, and better understand how caring for their bodies can improve every part of their lives.

Hayley knew she wanted to work in healthcare because she wanted to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. That calling eventually led her to massage therapy, where she discovered a profession that combined compassion, purpose, and hands-on care. She believes helping one person at a time is one of the most meaningful ways to make the world a better place.

What drew Hayley to Inspired Life was the people. After meeting Jon and Rachel, she immediately recognized a team built on kindness, hard work, and family values. She found a culture where people genuinely respect one another, continually strive to improve, and share the same commitment to helping patients achieve real results.

Outside the office, Hayley enjoys dancing, reading, cooking, working out, practicing Spanish, and spending time with her family. She loves learning, hopes to travel more, dreams of gardening someday, and is always looking for ways to continue growing both personally and professionally. If you ask her about food, you might be surprised to learn she’s probably the biggest carnivore you’ll ever meet.<br><br>
Hayley hopes every patient leaves feeling relief, peace, hope, and confidence that things can get better. She wants people to understand that pain doesn’t have to define their lives and that consistent care can help them get back to doing the things they love.

Living an Inspired Life means believing you are worth taking care of.

Everything she does begins with that belief—and everything she does is intentional.

Inspired Life Chiropractic Meet the Staff Headshot Jon Spurr Leadership Owner Operator

Jonathan Spurr

A lifelong commitment to helping the body heal and thrive.

Long before mortgages became his career, healthy living had already become part of his life. Jonathan’s grandfather was one of Tucson’s pioneering Doctors of Osteopathy and was known as one of the last physicians in the city to make house calls. His grandmother believed in caring for the whole person through natural healing.

Growing up, Jonathan learned that health isn’t something you chase after you lose it. It’s something you protect every day.

That philosophy became deeply personal after surviving a devastating automobile accident in 2011. Ejected from a rolling vehicle after being run off the freeway by a tractor trailer, Jonathan suffered severe head trauma and internal injuries. His recovery took more than a year.

He had to learn how to walk correctly again. How to write again. How to perform everyday tasks most people never think about.

Watching both himself and his daughter recover reinforced something he had believed his entire life. The body was designed to heal.

That experience didn’t change his philosophy. It strengthened it.

Patient Advocates

Inspired Life Chiropractic Meet the Staff Headshot Kelsey Montgomery Senior Patient Advocate

Kelsey Montgomery - Senior Patient Advocate

Kelsey believes healing doesn’t begin when a doctor walks into the room.

It begins with every interaction a patient has from the moment they walk through our doors.

As a Senior Patient Advocate, Kelsey understands that every conversation, every question answered, and every act of kindness helps create an experience where patients feel cared for, understood, and supported. She believes healing is a team effort, and she’s proud to play a role in every patient’s journey.

Born and raised in Arizona, Kelsey enjoys reading fantasy novels, writing, playing video games, watching horror movies, and embracing her inner Disney fan. She also spends plenty of time with her American Bulldog-Boxer mix, Tucker, and is always ready for a friendly game of tic-tac-toe.

What drew Kelsey to Inspired Life was the people. She immediately recognized a team that genuinely cares for one another, shares a passion for helping others, and treats every patient like family. It was a culture she knew she wanted to be part of.

Her hope is that every patient leaves feeling cared for, understood, appreciated, and confident they have an entire team supporting them.

Because at Inspired Life, healing isn’t the responsibility of one person.

It’s something every Patient Advocate is committed to every single day.

Natasha Betancourt - Patient Advocate

The patient experience begins the moment you walk through our doors, and Natasha is committed to making every person feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for.

As one of the first friendly faces you’ll meet in our Green Valley office, she believes that a smile, a warm greeting, and a little kindness can make all the difference. Whether she’s helping with appointments, answering questions, or simply getting to know the people she meets, Natasha wants every patient to feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

A Tucson native, Natasha lives in Sahuarita with her husband and their three children. Outside the office, you’ll usually find her cheering at one of her kids’ sporting events, working on a creative DIY project, or spending time with her family. She believes it’s the everyday moments with the people you love that create the best memories.

What drew Natasha to Inspired Life was the culture. She saw a team that genuinely cares about people, treats patients like family, and supports one another every day. It’s a place where she feels proud to come to work because she knows she’s part of something that makes a difference.

Her goal is simple.

She wants every patient to leave knowing they were more than just a name on the schedule.

She hopes everyone she meets feels like they’re talking to a friend.

Inspired Life Chiropractic Meet the Staff Headshot Alyssa Tillman Patient Advocate

Alyssa Tillman - Patient Advocate

Alyssa believes that sometimes the best way to help someone is simply by making them feel heard, cared for, and encouraged.

As a Patient Advocate, Alyssa welcomes patients, helps guide them through their visits, and works closely with those receiving HOCATT and other supportive therapies. One of her favorite parts of the job is getting to know patients, hearing their stories, and celebrating the progress they make along the way. She believes every conversation is an opportunity to brighten someone’s day and remind them that healing is a journey worth taking.

Outside the office, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her dog, Blu, along with her family and friends. Whether she’s reading by the pool, bowling, playing Topgolf, or reminiscing about her 15 years as a competitive cheerleader, she believes life is best lived with gratitude, a positive attitude, and an appreciation for the little moments.

Inspired Life was Alyssa’s first job after high school, but it quickly became much more than a job. She found a second family, a team that genuinely cares for one another, and a place where patients are treated with compassion every single day. And if you ask her, having dogs in the office is just the cherry on top.

Her hope is that every patient leaves feeling cared for, supported, and reminded that healing doesn’t always happen overnight.

Every small step forward is still progress.
